Wind symphony concert(Eng,

It's been a long time since I posted in English in March.
So I'm feeling something weird but not so bad to write something in English because I've talked/listened many English in these days.

Why? -Good question:)

Showa University of music, which I'm currently studying, have been inviting a famous conductor from US for our wind symphony band.
The famous conductor is Eugene M Corporon!

This time, I joined the band as a baritone player.
It was teacher's decision, so even I didn't know why he chose me as a bari player, it was good for me because I have a potential to play baritone, right?
My possibilities are still behind the wall and I think I found one through this concert band :)

Since this monday, we had rehearsals and worked very hard until friday. Oh, yesterday as well, but we also have recording session for making CD.
That was very tough for all of us to keep concentration but we did it!!!
(Actually, it was not so tough for me because I didn't play ALL of them. Just three of them. hehe...)

I really appreciate for maestro Corporon for his hard working!
He always thinks about us to make our work better. So he sometimes change his mind but it is for making our music more brilliant!
He says it was 15 times for him to work at Showa. I am glad to join such a memorial year.

Also I really appreciate for two teachers- Fukumoto-sensei and Goto-san.
Fukumoto-sensei is associate professor of saxophone and also conductor.
He spent all of his time in this week for our rehearsal and support us.
Goto-san is a composer and he became translator this time.
We can't have rehearsals without his effort.

And, all officers of university who worked for our concert.
We had a concert with SO MANY audience because of their hard working!
Although SNS and some IT make our life better, we can't have large number of audience.
When I have a concert, I actually make an announcement on SNS but it has just a little influence.
However we sometimes guess wrong that it is ok to inform only on SNS.
So this time, I was really happy to play with SO MANY audiences.

By the way, I like John Mackey's works.
I didn't play it but other members played "Frozen Cathedral" written by John Mackey and I was soooo inspired.
Another his piece, such as concerto for soprano saxophone, is also amazing piece as well.

It was first time to hear Frozen Cathedral at live because it was Japan premier!!!
I can imagine the scenery like crystal ices are broken or frozen ice are made with shiny sound...

I like american composers' sound and harmony... Yeah, I'm sure...!!

Again, I really appreciate for all of people who support me and otsukaresama for everybody!
